MAGIC RED OXIDE METAL PRIMER is an alkyd based primer with Iron Oxide that has excellent anti corrosive properties and can be left exposed for several months before top coating.

Used as a general multipurpose primer, it can also be used as a corrosion resistant for various metals except zinc and galvanized surfaces.

  • Excellent Corrosion Resistance.
  • Weather Resistant.
  • Very Good Adhesion with the Surface.
  • Prevents Rusting of Ferrous Metals.
  • Can be left exposed without Top Coat for Several Months.
  • It has non toxic components.

Clean the surface thoroughly using wire brush or sand paper, the surface should be free from dust and debris. After surface preparation apply MAGIC METAL PRIMER RED OXIDE using paint brush or spray. Let the coat dry for atleast 4-6 hours and then the surface is ready to be applied with the desired top coat.

As a general rule, avoid inhalation of solvent vapours or paint mist and contact of paint with skin and eyes. Provide forced ventilation when working with solvent borne coating in confined spaces or stagnant air. Also provide respiratory, skin and eye protection. Also follow local and national safety regulations.

Actual covering capacity may vary depending upon the method & condition of application, surface condition, temperature, wind velocity, application skills, surface roughness, surface porosity & shade.**As long as the containers is sealed and kept at normal temperature without any direct exposure to sunlight.
